Our dogs are derived primarily from German Shepherd bloodlines and are bred to retain the appearance, temperament and versatility of the traditional Shepherd Dog while prioritising health and genetic diversity through carefully managed breeding practices.

Swish Sheps is a small, home-based Shepherd Dog breeding programme in Lancashire, led by Dawn and Phil.

 

Our dogs don’t live in kennels — they live with us. They are part of our everyday lives and that close relationship shapes how we raise, train and breed every dog.

​

We breed Shepherd Dogs with a strong emphasis on genetic diversity, health, temperament and functional structure. Our approach is selective and intentional, focusing on producing balanced, capable dogs.​

​

Every Swish Sheps puppy is raised in a home environment and placed with lifelong responsibility in mind. Our goal is to produce sound, steady Shepherd Dogs — true to the working heritage of the German Shepherd Dog.

We welcome interest from other independent breeders and from those outside of the United Kingdom, our dogs can be exported worldwide and frozen semen from our stud dog males can also be transported overseas, please contact us to discuss further.
