Swish Sheps is a small, home-based Shepherd Dog breeding programme in Lancashire, led by Dawn and Phil.

 

Our dogs don’t live in kennels — they live with us. They are part of our everyday lives and that close relationship shapes how we raise, train and breed every dog.

​

We breed German Shepherd Dogs and White Swiss Shepherd Dogs with a strong emphasis on health, temperament and functional structure and also offer our male dogs at stud to selected females. Our approach is selective and intentional, focusing on producing balanced, capable dogs rather than high numbers or short-term trends.

​

Alongside registered breeding, we run a carefully managed outcross programme designed to strengthen genetic diversity and support long-term welfare. This reflects our belief that responsible breeding sometimes means looking beyond registry limitations in order to protect the future of the breed.

​

Every Swish Sheps puppy is raised in a home environment and placed with lifelong responsibility in mind. Our goal is to produce sound, steady Shepherd Dogs — true to the working heritage of the German Shepherd Dog.

We welcome interest from outside of the United Kingdom, our dogs can be exported worldwide and frozen semen from our stud dog males can also be transported overseas.
