Outcross Litter Plans 2026

We are planning an outcross litter this year with our Swiss Shepherd male, Bear and the female shown above, Mia. Mia is a Border Collie x Siberian Husky.

The litter will be a mixture of around half solid White puppies that look like their Dad and the remainder will look like Mum with her Black and White markings.

All puppies in this litter will carry the Recessive Red gene (e), either one or two copies of it (those with two copies will look solid White), which means if they are then bred to a dog that also carries this gene, or is solid White (e/e), solid White puppies will be produced.

We will be keeping one puppy back from this litter to join our Swish pack to add further genetic diversity to our outcross lines.

Mia as a Puppy

The mating will take place early March with pups likely to born around early May and then ready to leave for their new homes approx. end of June or early July 2026.
